QMULBC trains at two locations:
University of London Boathouse, Thames Tideway
The UL Boathouse is well situated on the Tideway, in Chiswick. QMULBC, as well as most of the UL colleges, is based here. Facilites include full changing/shower rooms and a cafe (open during peak season).
All of our on-the-water training takes place here. This year a club training camp was also held here for three days at the start of January, which we are hoping to organise again next year.
Closest rail stations are Gunnersbury (Overground and District line) and Chiswick (National Rail), both of which are a 10-15 minute walk from the Boathouse. The boathouse is around 75 minutes away from Queen Mary’s Mile End campus by tube.

London Regatta Centre, Royal Albert Dock
Our former homeĀ boasts world class facilities, including gym and indoor tank. Located alongside the Royal Albert Dock, this facility gives access to several Km of water, without the tides, currents or bends of the River.
Since our fleet was movedĀ to the UL boathouse, QMULBC only uses the regatta centre for tank sessions. These take place in the first few weeks of each academic year.
The Regatta Centre is 100m from Royal Albert DLR station, and takes around 30 minutes to get to from Mile End campus.
